hi, i'm alexx! i'm a classically trained pastry chef with a lifelong marshmallow obsession (read my full story here). i started the vermont marshmallow company because, honestly, marshmallows deserved better. i set out to make something boldly flavored (but not too sweet!), pillowy-soft, and just as nostalgic as the marshmallows we had as kids, but better.

though we've grown to a team of 5, with over 120 5-star reviews and clients like prada, we still handcraft every batch in small quantities (17 bags at a time!) right here in vermont.

this state has a long tradition of makers who care deeply about their craft, and we're thrilled (like, so thrilled) to be part of that. our marshmallows make an unexpected and genuinely memorable gift (think: holidays, weddings, s'mores nights, or just because someone deserves something special).
